Oh boy have I had fun with the Christmas stamps from Polkadoodles and what is more, the images co-ordinate bautifully with the Holly Jolly 6" x 6" paper pad. Here's todays project and I have been playing with Christmas Poinsettia with Holly, Holly Jolly paper pad and lots of different Polkadoodles dies ...
The poinsettia stamp is a large stamp and creates a beautiful mutli-layered flower - if that is what you are after. My card blank for this project is 8" x 8" and as you can see from the photo below, the flower still 'holds it's own'.
The poinsettia has been stamped 3 times and inbetween the layers, I have added some diffrent flourish die cuts and a few extra leaves. A decorative button finishes off the flower perfectly.
On one of the papers, you can find these adorable 'lickle' number tags and they are perfect for that 'small but needed' finishing touch. In this instance I have added a button with hesssian strands attached.
The decorative border you can see by the tag and also under the hessian, (see below), is the top of the Elegant Gate die - doesn't it make a 'cool' border? Sadly this die set is 'out of stock' at the mo but I'm sure if you nag Nikky a little ... who knows ...! As a final embellishment, I have added some clear dewdrops and a very lickle mitten button.
Many thanks for popping over and don't forget to enter my blog candy for the chance to win a fabulous Polkadoodles clear stamp set.
